The New HALO® SwaddleChange: It's Not Weird. {4/21}

*Disclosure in accordance with FTC regulations: I received a complementary product to facilitate the following review.
*************************
You may have seen my recent review of the HALO® SleepSack Swaddle, which we are still using 2 months later because I love the peace of mind it brings at bedtime. Well, I’ve since been asked to provide a review of another HALO product: the new SwaddleChange™, designed to make diaper changing easier and less stressful for both babies and parents. The HALO® SwaddleChange™ is a soft and comfy cover for your changing pad that features an attached, adjustable swaddle wrap to help keep baby secure and little hands under control when changing diapers.
So, after all that, I just have one question: Is this weird?
I only ask because I’ve seen people call it weird. I’ve seen comments around the blogosphere that say it looks like a straightjacket. I’ll admit I even thought it was a little weird at first, but you know what? It’s just a swaddler, like we use at bedtime. And before we had it, I found myself putting a blanket over our little girl to calm her while we changed her diaper. The SwaddleChange totally solved that problem!
See the little face in this photo? Yeah, that’s not a crying face, and it didn’t turn into one when we changed her.
…and that’s a very good thing when you have a 3-year-old that you do not want to wake up at 2am!
Plus, the SwaddleChange has been awarded the PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Seal of Approval. You can’t argue with that!
 Here’s what HALO has to say about the SwaddleChange:
HALO Innovation’s SleepSack® Swaddle has become the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, almost 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets. HALO has applied this same comforting concept to diaper changing to create the new HALO® SwaddleChange™.

The HALO SwaddleChange swaddles and soothes babies for stress-free diaper changes.  The soft plush cover fits over the entire changing pad like most covers, with the addition of a sewn-in swaddle wrap that helps parents keep baby’s body under control while he’s lying down. Available in 4 colors of soft velboa fabric, the Swaddle Change fits most contoured changing pads (17” x 32” to 17” x 34”). The cover should always be used with the changing pad’s attached safety belt.
And here’s what we have to say about it:
Nope. Not weird. This is not something I would have put on my registry, but now that I’ve used it I definitely see the benefit. Babies spend a lot of time  swaddled up, all warm and comfy, and it can turn into a stressful situation if you expect them to stay calm while they are cold and exposed for diaper changes. The SwaddleChange is the perfect way to keep your baby (age birth – 1 year) safe, snuggly and happy!

Buy it!

The HALO SwaddleChange can be purchased at amazon.com, target.com and babiesrus.com as well as other fine retailers. For current news and promotions from HALO, follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
