Looking for a family waterpark that’s perfect for all ages and has enough water attractions to keep everyone splashing all day long? The answer you’re looking for is right inside Hersheypark! That’s right, there’s an 11-acre family waterpark inside the sweet park you already know and love, and it’s included in your regular Hersheypark ticket price.
The Boardwalk at Hersheypark opened in 2007 to mark the park’s 100th anniversary, and it’s been growing every year since.
16 Family Fun Waterpark Attractions
The 11-acre family waterpark featuring 16 attractions – including this year’s brand new Whitecap Racer and Breaker’s Edge Water Coaster. For little ones, the Shoreline Sprayground is splashpad perfection, and you’ll also find the fast Tidal Force flume, the high energy Waverider, the low-key Intercoastal Waterway, and the nostalgic East Coast Waterworks that will remind you of your favorite visits to the Jersey and Maryland shores.
Another game-changing addition to The Boardwalk this year was the arrival of 3 new food trucks – a little bit trendy, but with choices that will appeal to absolutely everyone! From authentic Sunkissed Beach BBQ to the gourmet Grilled Cheese Beach Shack, you don’t even have to leave The Boardwalk for what we think are the best eats in the park.
Our fave pick? The pulled pork tacos from the new Smiling Taco-ria food truck. A hearty serving piled high with sour cream and fresh cilantro – the kids couldn’t stop talking about how good they were! And I always, always appreciate more fresh options.
If I had to pick a favorite spot in the entire waterpark, I think it would have to be The Shore, which is a huge wave pool. Crystal clear and clean, just right for all ages, always the perfect temperature, and complete with jump-able waves that splash over and over just like the beach. My little ones would have spent the entire day there if I had let them.
Don’t forget – ALL of the family waterpark fun is included in your one-price Hersheypark admission!
