Like Kitty Books? You’ll Love The Very Fluffy Kitty, Papillon! (Giveaway)

Kitty books are our favorite, and we received this one in exchange for our honest review. This post contains an affiliate link.

What do you do when your family vacation at the beach is faced with a weather hiccup by the name of Hurricane Hermine? Well, you visit the hotel pool, order room service, and then hunker down with anything that might keep your kids occupied and happy. In the case of our latest trip to Ocean City, MD, that was a brand new children’s book that I was SO thankful I had put in our bag!

Kitty Books are the Best!

My 3-year-old is in love with kitty books, and it doesn’t get any cuter than The Very Fluffy Kitty, Papillon by A.N. Kang. Written and illustrated for the 3–5 age group, this picture book is just perfect for my beginning reader. And it sure did keep her interested while the waves crashed outside our room!

About the Very Fluffy Kitty, Papillon

Papillon is a very fluffy kitty. So fluffy that he’s lighter than air! His owner tries to weigh him down, but Papillon just wants to fly.

One particularly sunny day, he floats right out the window! Exploring the wide world is exhilarating, but it’s also a little scary. Will his new friend, a bird, be able to help him find his way home? ~Disney Hyperion

About the Author

A. N. Kang was born in a little town in South Korea, with endless rice fields around her house. She grew up entertaining herself with picture books, and drew constantly. After moving to the United States as a teenager, she graduated from art school and began to design jewelry, greeting cards, and holiday installations all over New York City. She now lives and works in New Jersey with her sassy cat, Papillon. This is Kang’s debut.

I’m hoping there are more Papillon books in the queue, because my little one definitely wants to read more about her new fluffy friend. You can stay up-to-date on new Papillon news and other children’s books along with us here:

Growing up I had 2 Siamese cats! My hubby’s not fond of cats, though, so we’ve always had dogs. Our Ozzy- a black lab/border collie mix- is my buddy who keeps me company all day!
