Diva. Shopaholic. Boy chaser. They’re all things I’ve seen on shirts manufactured for little girls. Needless to say, I’ll pass on those messages, thank you. In fact, why does my little girl’s shirt need to carry a message at all? The right answer = It doesn’t. That’s why I’m such a big fan of Limeapple clothing for young girls and preteens. They offer a variety of fun, stylish and age-appropriate girls’ clothing in sizes 12 months to 14 years, from dance uniforms and jackets to swimwear and girls’ capris. From sporty activewear to boutique dresses, Limeapple offers something for every girl.
Our Favorite Girls’ Capris
Right now, our little one is a size 3 or 4T, depending on the style, so when we shop Limeapple, we shop the Little Lime collection. It’s filled with all the same activewear and age-appropriate styles, but in smaller sizes that fit up to size 4. Their trapeze-style tops and girls’ capris are just too adorable, and super wearable for playtime (and just about any time!)
I opt for girls’ capris whenever I can because shorts for little girls are just too iffy. They often have a super short inseam, making them way too short, which is neither appropriate nor comfortable for an active kiddo. Limeapple girls’ capris are stretchy and breathable, and they are a great length that’s not too long, not too short (which means you just might get 2 years’ wear out of them!)
The Little Lime collection’s Venus Set has become a playtime favorite of ours. Elliette likes the bright colors and watermelon details, and I love the breathability of the fabric, easy up and down for potty time, and the fact that this outfit is one we don’t even have to think about. Whether she’s climbing, sliding, or tumbling upside down, it stretches to fit without being restricting, just like great clothing should do.
Our Limeapple wishlist includes a bunch of other sets – all bright, all fun, all appropriate for our little one. Visit Limeapple online to see their entire selection of activewear for little girls. Don’t forget to check out current promos while you’re there. Limeapple always seems to have a great deal going on!
