  • 2 ounces Shea butter
  • 1 ounce of Beeswax
  • 2 ounces of sweet almond oil
  • 2 drops vetiver essential oil
  • small tin (2–3 ounces or 2 2-ounce tins)
  1. Place butter and beeswax into a small tin and place on a candle warmer. (A double boiler or pan on the stove over very low heat may also be used.)
  2. Watch ingredients closely to avoid overheating. Allow them to melt and blend together, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. Once solution is liquidy, remove from heat. Stir in almond oil and 1-3 drops essential oil, working quickly before balm solidifies. Stir until well blended. (If using a pan, pour balm into tins.)
  3. Allow balm to cool.
