Bubbles are Back! @Adenandanais Bubble Bath

This post about gentle baby bubble bath was brought to you by aden + anais, who provided a sample product to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest.

Screen Shot 2014-04-10 at 12.13.17 AM You may remember that we’re currently in the midst of a bathroom remodel. I’m working on another post that tells the whole story of that neverending DIY project, but for now, I’m just reveling in the thrill of a new family milestone: my kids’ first bubble bath in our new tub! The project is far from finished, but we do have a brand new tub and tile surround, so for the first time since little Elliette was born, I can now put both kids in a tub full of bubbles and let them play together!

And when I say full of bubbles, I mean FULL of bubbles! Choosing more natural bath products has left us with lackluster bubbles for years, but now we’re using the new aden + anais bubble bath. If you’ve ever used their swaddle blankets, just seeing the a+a logo probably makes your heart beat a little faster – it sure does make mine skip a beat! I have yet to find a single thing from their line of products that didn’t become an immediate favorite in our home.

Get big billowy bubbles with aden + anais bubble bath! Gentle for little ones with a sweet sandalwood scent.

If you’re choosy about ingredients, you’ll be happy to know that aden + anais bubble bath is free of sulfates, DEA, betaine, phosphates + phthalates, parabens, synthetic dyes, harsh chemicals, gluten and soy. It’s also tear-free and naturally derived from the moisturizing pawpaw fruit.

Serious bubbles from a gentle bubble bath. Leave it to aden + anais!

But the kids will tell you that the best part is the mountain of billowy bubbles we get every time we use it. (Sorry about that meh iPhone photo, but do you see that pile of bubbles?!)

It’s no longer necessary to sacrifice bubbly fun for the sake of a safe and gentle bath. You can have both!

No yucky ingredients, and no shortage of bubbly fun. Leave it to aden + anais!

And the best part of all? The sweet Australian Sandalwood scent is the same as the mum + bub hair and body wash (also from aden + anais) that we used for Elliette’s first bath after she was born. Now, every bath takes me back to the first time I snuggled her little freshly-bathed self, and that’s about as heavenly as it gets.

Trust aden + anais bubble bath for your baby's sensitive skin. LOADS of bubbles, too!

It makes me love bathtime just that much more.

You can find aden + anais Bubble Bath on Amazon, and don’t forget to join the conversation on Facebook at aden + anais.

My six year old LOVES taking bubble baths. My oldest used to love them, too, but how he’s more into showers.

My kids are too old for bubble baths now, but I indulge in one every now and again. Nothing like soaking in the tub and reading a good book 🙂

I was scrolling up and down this article to get to the part about the sandalwood fragrance. I LOVE that fragrance. That PLUS the possibility of mountains of safe bubbles make this a good product for our home.

That fragrance really is my favorite thing about a+a bubble bath! I think that scent will forever remind me of the day my little girl was born. <3

I just finished a total home remodel last year, so I TOTALLY hear you about the neverending home remodel! Our bathroom took the longest too. But you’ll be really happy when it’s done and at least you’ve gotten a chance to try out the new tub! 🙂

My 4 year old granddaughter loves bubble baths but hasn’t been able to take one in a while because she is prone to getting urinary tract infections (most likely from all the chemicals). This product sounds like it has way less chemicals than most on the market. It’s worth a try. Thanks 🙂

From the company’s Web site (under FAQ):

Water (Aqua), Decyl Glucoside (Plant Derived), Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine (Plant Derived), Polyglyceryl-10 Caprylate/Caprate, Coco-Glucoside, Glycerin (Plant Derived), Glyceryl Oleate, Fragrance (Parfum), Xanthan Gum (Natural Thickener), Sodium Benzoate (Food Grade Preservative), Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate (Natural Chelate), Methyl Gluceth-20, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract, Citric Acid (Naturally Derived)

I was interested in comparing it to my own formula: diammonium lauryl sulfosuccinate, lauramidopropyl betaine, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, preserved with the preservatives that already come in the water solutions supplied of those ingreds.

I understand completely, Sherrie, as I had those problems as a kid, too. I could never use harsh bubble baths. This one does not affect any of us that way. I hope it works for your granddaughter!
