{2013 Holiday Gift Guide} Gaiam: Yoga gear and SO much more!

babyphoto

When I started exercising again after Elliette’s birth, I found myself in need of some new clothing and equipment. Since comfort was top of mind, I started searching for yoga pants. (Mom staple, right?) I knew the Gaiam name from some of the gear I already had, but when I looked them up I found SO much more than I expected!

Who knew Gaiam offered so much beyond great yoga DVDs? I could honestly do every bit of my holiday shopping on their site. They carry a dream list of items for bed and bath, home and garden, spa and workout gear, and they have great looking everyday clothing, too. The biggest surprise of all was the outdoor and gardening selection. From the Seedhouse Jr. where I could grow my spinach all year long to the coolest looking Bio-Orb rolling composter ever, they have my whole wish list covered! (To be honest, my list is a lot longer now after visiting their site.)

A few things I’m hoping Santa might bring from Gaiam:

  • Organic cotton piped pajamas
  • Pureguardian Ultrasonic Humidifier
  • retractable clothesline
  • Tree of Life Wall Sculpture (fair trade certified)
  • Hanging Solar Food Dehydrator

It’s like a toy store for an aspiring homesteader like me! I don’t know how I went this long without knowing how much Gaiam had to offer.

For the New Mom

If you happen to be on the hunt for a new mom gift, I have to suggest the 2-inch suregrip headband. Gaiam sent me one to try out, and it’s the only thing that works on those flyaways that are so pesky after about 2 months of postpartum hair loss! I’m putting one in the stocking of every new mom I know this year.
