Hersheypark Summer Season 2017 is officially underway! It’s no secret that Hershey, PA is a sweet family travel destination with a rich history and lots to learn and do, but did you know that the folks at Hershey are always working to add to the fun you can have each season? This season, they’ve outdone themselves with lots of new attractions, eats, and perks…so grab your Hersheypark tickets and start planning your trip!
Things to Do at Hersheypark this Summer
The Boardwalk at Hersheypark opened in 2007 to mark the park’s 100th anniversary. With over 15 water attractions, the Boardwalk promises splish-splash fun for days. Want a place to relax and hang out? Need a place for the kids to nap and chill out? Call in advance and reserve a private cabana! Boardwalk access is included in your standard Hersheypark admission.
The Boardwalk isn’t just for big kids! There’s a super splash pad, too, that will keep your little ones cool and very, very busy.
Triple Tower – NEW!
Hershey Triple Tower is the first choose-your-thrill triple tower in the United States, open now in Kissing Tower Hill. Drop in for thrills you won’t find anywhere else! Here are the descriptions of each tower, right from Hersheypark.com:
Standing at 189 feet high, the tallest tower features two gravity-defying experiences: SPACE SHOT & TURBO DROP, rocketing riders to the top before blasting back to the bottom at 45 miles per hour.
Standing at 131 feet high, this tower offers two thrilling cycles of positive and negative G forces.
Hershey’s Kisses Tower
This tower is 80 feet high, with two exhilarating cycles of positive and negative G forces!
Chik-fil-A – NEW!
Next time you’re in Founder’s Way, look for the new Chick-fil-A! They’ll serve a menu of fresh, handcrafted favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.
BBlz – NEW!
Where do I start with BBlz? First of all, it’s pronounced just like “bubbles.” They’re a little bit hard to describe, mainly because they are the first of their kind and not available ANYwhere else. You’ll only find these fizzy sweet drink creations at Hersheypark (right by Triple Tower.) There will be 7 different flavors, each starting with a Pepsi product base, then infused with more flavors and topped with sweet creams and Hershey’s candies. Its a Pepsi/Hershey mashup not for the faint of heart! Above, you’ll see the red and green Melon Baller with Mountain Dew and crushed Jolly Ranchers, and Whipped Screamer, filled with Pepsi-vanilla-caramel-creamy-deliciousness that really can’t be described without trying one. I can’t wait to see what the other flavors are! (And yes, there will be a Halloween flavor!) Eek!

BUT, I do have to point you toward all the drink and meal plans you can purchase to save big on the best Hershey eats. Visit here to see how to save at Hersheypark when hunger hits.
Games, rides, shows, characters, water slides, and all the best chocolatey treats (and fine dining, too!) – there are always tons of things to do at Hersheypark!
