My husband and I would love to be big travelers, but we’re just not. Our jobs and budget don’t allow it, so we try to take advantage of local attractions and focus on short trips whenever we can. Plastic. It’s a heck of a thing.
Have you ever tried to do away with it? Just not use plastic things any more? It’s hard. No matter how dedicated you are to greening up your life, cutting out plastic is really hard. It’s everywhere. Especially when you’ve got small kids around.
Some things are easy. I pack my lunch in stainless steel storage containers now, and I use a Klean Kanteen water bottle, and some other Eco 101 type stuff. But some things are harder to replace. Toothbrush? Storage totes? Durable – yet cute – tableware for your toddler…
Oh wait, I got that one covered.
