As you can tell from that snazzy button over in my sidebar, I’m a Tidy Books Ambassador. The Book Box and Book Case have been providing great storage for our kids’ books for months, and now I’m happy to introduce you to the newest addition to our Tidy Books collection: the Bunk Bed Buddy!



Simple idea, genius product. That about sums it up. When I was a child, I loved to read at night before bed, as so many kids do. I had shelves around my bed, but that’s not the norm, especially if you’re sleeping in a bunk bed. The lucky kid on the bottom might have a little storage space, but what about the top bunk? Where do they put their books, magazines, diary, alarm clock, water bottle or favorite toy? And where do the treasures go? Tidy Books: A New Look at Kids’ Books! {Review and Giveaway}

Yeah, so, uhh….we’re still working on the kids’ furniture. Ugh. It’s SO hard trying to fit 2 kids, a boy and a girl, one preschooler and one infant, into one tiny little room with a set of stairs in it. I just can’t seem to get it right. But we’re making small strides, and I’m confident that once we get our bunk beds in, the room will start to take shape.

The problem is that I’m pretty picky about what kind of furniture we buy. We can’t spend too much, but I want safe, well-made furniture that will last. And if it’s unique, that’s even better. But I’m happy to report that we did find one piece of furniture for kids that is all those things and more: our new Tidy Books Kids’ Bookcase!
