Safe TV for Kids, Customized by Parents: Kidoodle.TV

I participated in a Blog Blast program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kidoodle.TV. I received a promotional item and a free trial as a thank you for participating.

If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen me asking for advice on alternatives to traditional cable television. Good news! I’ve found a new online option where I can set up an account for my kids and let them watch their favorite age-appropriate shows, worry-free!

Kidoodle.TV

Kidoodle.TV allows parents to customize profiles for up to 5 kids (12 and under) from, choose exactly which shows each child is allowed to watch, then hand off navigation to the child.  Choosing programs is a snap to do from the Parents’ Room, and there are popular choices for different ages, including everything from Strawberry Shortcake to Transformers. Even National Geographic! All shows are available as a live stream from the web, and can be viewed on both PC and Mac, desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones with other devices being Beta tested.

With no ads in the kids’ content, no adult content at all, and no worries about internet safety, it’s a nice way to know exactly what your kids are seeing. (In our case, Paddington Bear and Zoo Babies!)

Kidoodle.TV is FREE through the month of December.

PLUS, from now through December 31, 2013, you can enter to win 1 of 10 tablets or 1 of 10 Kidoodle.TV year-long subscriptions!

To enter the giveaway, go to Kidoodle.TV to sign up for a free trial. Follow the on-screen directions and submit!

Connect with Kidoodle.TV on Facebook and Twitter to learn more and hear what people are saying! (People besides me, of course. I think it’s a win!)
