HALO® SleepSack: Keeping Baby Swaddled, Snug and Safe {Giveaway Ends 3/10}

Shortly before our new baby’s birth, my husband and I headed to the hospital to pre-register. We had a great experience the first time around, so I was thrilled to find out that they had changed some of their policies since the last time we were there…and now they are even more baby-friendly than ever! From standard delayed cord clamping (if baby is not in distress) to doing away with formula samples, the changes now in effect gave me even more confidence for our big day.
Around the same time, I also heard about the HALO® Safer Way to Sleep Initiative and learned that hospitals across the country are starting to use HALO SleepSack Swaddles, which are wearable blankets with a built-in swaddle that wraps around baby, instead of swaddle blankets. Our hospital has yet to adopt the initiative, but that’s OK…I brought our very own HALO swaddle with us! (…and now all the nurses know about HALO’s initiative, too!)
