My love affair with prAna is no secret. I write about them here often, and if you run into me on any given day, chances are I’ll be wearing at least one of my prAna staples. In fact, I love some of their women’s pants (the Annexi, the Uptown…) so much that I have a backup pair waiting in the wings. I get their emails, I stalk their sales, and if there’s something I like, I’ve been known to go back and get the other colors (that’s when we know it’s good, right ladies?)
The mindfulness put into the sourcing of their sustainable materials and the conscientious creation of their clothing has made me a believer time and time again, but does any of that matter if the clothes themselves aren’t great? They’ve gotta fit right, right? No worries, there, friends. This season, prAna has outdone themselves with the best yoga pants you’ll ever wear…plus a new favorite that has been bumped up to the very front of my closet.
But first, why prAna?
From the sustainability of their hemp clothing to the versatility of their casual style, prAna is a brand that truly fits a busy, active mom’s life. But no matter how busy we might get, it’s important to maintain a sense of mindfulness when we make purchases and support businesses with our dollars, right? It really doesn’t have to be a trade-off. When you find a brand you admire and trust, like prAna, life gets just a little bit easier because you can shop with confidence that you’re supporting a greater good, helping life get better for farmers and suppliers, and doing your part for the planet.
Personally, 2018 has already shown to be a year of change for me, with new career direction, a move in the works, and the challenge of raising two energetic little ones. I’m a commuter, a small business owner, a soccer mom, a STEM club coach, a runner training for a half marathon later this year…like most of us, there seems to be no end to the list of things I am these days. And despite all the craziness, I still really want to look and feel good every day while making mindful choices with my money.
I’d be willing to bet the list of things you are is long, too. Whatever might be on it, I’m certain that “person who has time to worry about her clothing” is not, am I right? prAna is for you.Use code MPWKS18 to save 15% at @prAna through 3/20! Click To Tweet
The Best Yoga Pants Yet
A yoga class should be a place where you can focus on your body and your thoughts, not your pants.
The mindful nature of the prAna brand starts with the materials they source, but it doesn’t stop there. The folks at prAna know that if the fit isn’t right, your practice isn’t right. They focus on mindful design so you can keep your mind on yoga instead of on your yoga pants – and that means for ALL body types.
Here’s a closer look at the new fit that makes prAna yoga pants the best yoga pants yet.
More Casual Pants – with Rolled Cuffs!
I’ve long loved the Mantra pant from prAna, but I’ll admit I always wished the legs weren’t quite so billowy. Well, now prAna has a pant that is my ideal everyday go-to, with a leg that’s a little more narrow (with a rolled cuff!) for a perfect fit. The Shala pant comes in Cargo Green, Charcoal and a pretty Thistle color that is versatile while still being fun. I wear a lot of neutrals, so the thistle is a nice pop of color that plays well with most of my other favorite pieces. These pants are SO comfortable, and they look great no matter where your day might take you. The best part? They’re made with sustainably sourced hemp, which also happens to be lightweight, breathable, and wrinkle-resistant.
Shala, welcome to my closet. I just might have to come back and get you in all 3 colors.
