For the bookworm on your holiday gift list! @TidyBooks

As you can tell from that snazzy button over in my sidebar, I’m a Tidy Books Ambassador. The Book Box and Book Case have been providing great storage for our kids’ books for months, and now I’m happy to introduce you to the newest addition to our Tidy Books collection: the Bunk Bed Buddy!

TidyBooks

Simple idea, genius product. That about sums it up. When I was a child, I loved to read at night before bed, as so many kids do. I had shelves around my bed, but that’s not the norm, especially if you’re sleeping in a bunk bed. The lucky kid on the bottom might have a little storage space, but what about the top bunk? Where do they put their books, magazines, diary, alarm clock, water bottle or favorite toy? And where do the treasures go? (Because you know every kid has some tiny treasures they like to keep close by.) Tidy Books knows exactly where all those things belong…right on the wall next to your child!

The Bunk Bed Buddy was designed to help turn those top bunks into cozy and creative personal “nooks” for children. Now that I’ve seen the Bunk Bed Buddy, I really can’t picture the top bunk without one! We’re working on getting bunk beds for our kids now, but our little one is just a tad too small yet. For now, we’re keeping our Bunk Bed Buddy on the central dresser in the kids’ room so we can keep the things we need close at hand. CDs, books, diaper creams and lotions, a few favorite toys. With the Bunk Bed Buddy, we can keep them neat and organized instead of just laying on the dresser. I can’t tell which I love more – the functionality of it, or just the way it looks!

It definitely lives up to its “tidy” name.

The slim shape has a wider base and slanted design that keeps it leaning back, so it works perfectly on a dresser. (I actually kind of wish I had one for my kitchen, too… wouldn’t it be great to hold spices and little bottles of yummy things?) It really is the perfect way to make any small space more efficient, and in our little house, that’s a BIG plus.

The Bunk Bed Buddy comes fully assembled with the hardware needed to attach it safely and securely to the wall. It’s available in natural wood, white, blue, pink, or this super cool Around the World design. How great is this for imaginative readers!?

It’s easy to see why the Bunk Bed Buddy would make a great addition to any kids’ room, but there are other reasons I’m proud to support Tidy Books as a company. Their products are durable and some of the highest quality kids’ items we own – truly heirloom quality – and they’re made from sustainably sourced wood that’s finished with an eco-friendly water lacquer. That makes it better for your family, and safer for those who work so hard to make the shelves.

Tidy Books is also a small company started by a mom with an idea, and the friendly folks there strive to run an ethical, responsible business. I think they’re doing a great job.  Just seeing the Tidy Books logo on the products we have makes me feel good every time I see it. They really represent everything I look for in a small company.

I’d like to add the Tidy Books Baby Buddy to our new nursery. It looks like super practical storage that we could leave up even has he gets older.

I also love the Tidy Books Kids Bookcase. I love how the books face out, so a child can easily pick a book and put one back. Love it!
