Cute and Cozy Winter Wear from @Gymboree

babyphoto

I take a trip to Gymboree each year to outfit my son for winter, and I always find tons of things I love. But now that I actually get to shop in the girls’ section too, I think I may be a little dress obsessed! Bright corduroy, soft sweater knits, classic holiday prints – Gymboree has them all this winter.

We usually buy matching pieces from Gymboree’s collections to make coordinating easy, but this year I’m just really feeling all the different dresses. They’re so easy for little girls to wear! Once I saw this bright pop of a bubble jumper from the new Color Happy line, I was hooked on the polka dots. Does it get any cuter?

Of course, I’m still loving the boy’s clothes – like this little boys’ Cardigan in Fair Isle print from the current baby boy’s Ski School line. My little boy barely takes it off! Fine by me, because it has a full jersey lining to keep him warm, and he can wear it in his car seat. Don’t the kids look super warm and comfy?

We liked these fun colors so much, they made the front of our holiday cards!

Speaking of the Fair Isle print, you can find it on tons of Gymboree pieces in lots of variations for boys and girls this year, and I LOVE it. It’s dressy without being too dressy, and casual without being too casual, know what I mean? On Black Friday, we grabbed the Fair Isle baby dress from the Joyful Holiday line.

Do you think she likes it? :)

I think it looks so cozy for the casual holiday we usually have, gathered at home, drinking warm cider and playing all day.  I just love hugging her in it…and the Red Santa Crib Boots! Can you even stand the boot cuteness?

I think this particular Christmas dress is sold out online, but local stores may have it. If not, never fear! Gymboree has since added a new Sparkly Fair Isle dress in the Snowflake Glamour line. Which do you like better?

And finally, because the sales were just that good, we splurged on yet another dress. We already had the tights and shoes to match, so why resist, right?

…also known as the “I’m going to make a funny face every time I wear this” dress.

As much fun as sweaters and sweater dresses are, it’s important to be warm and snug at night, too. We love the fit of Gymboree’s Gymmies, so I got the kids matching sets with fun milk and cookies prints. Chocolate Milky Way Gymmies for him, Milk and Cookie Way Gymmies for her, both from the Life is Sweet Sleepwear line.

Sadly, resistance is high around bedtime, so photos in PJs are rare – but you’re sure to catch a glimpse of our new Gymmies if you follow me on Instagram at wendykat99!

For now, a peek:

Gymboree is about more than just great kids’ clothes. It’s about celebrating all the things that make childhood fun…and what better time to celebrate childhood than the holiday season? It’s the best time to be a kid!

Her kissy face KILLS me! I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I haven’t been to Gymboree in a few weeks. I want that dress though so I think I’m headed there this weekend!
