2013 Holiday Card Collection from Shutterfly {$50 Gift Code Giveaway}

Cutesquare

Would you mind doing a little “no rain” dance for me?  My insanely brilliant photographer friend is coming this weekend to do our family photos, and this drab, rainy weather just won’t do. I can’t wait to put my kiddos in their fall sweaters and get some photos with crunchy leaves and pumpkins!

Of course, we’re going to try to get a few photos for our holiday cards, too. I’m having trouble deciding if I want to go the Christmas route, or stay more neutral with Thanksgiving or New Year cards. Whatever I decide, there’s no question that we’ll be getting our cards from the Shutterfly 2013 Holiday Card Collection.

We use Shutterfly every year. I only send out cards once a year, and the quality we get from Shutterfly makes each card feel like a little gift. If you’ve ever shopped with them before, you might notice a few new things in this year’s collection…

Like new card styles, 5×7 tri-fold cards and even new back-of-card designs. Decision, decisions…

The tri-folds are a nice change of pace, and they fit a lot of pictures.

And the fun, whimsical designs are perfect for the kiddos’ photos.

I usually gravitate toward non-traditional cards that are appropriate for all the people I know that do not celebrate holidays other than Christmas.

Aren’t these story cards fun? You can recap the highpoints of the year (unless that’s weird. Is that weird?)

I think my favorite idea is the New Year card. I mean, who couldn’t use an extra week to get them in the mail, right?

With card categories including Classic, Contemporary, Whimsy, Merry & Bright, Religious and Photo Basics, you’ll have no problem finding the card that has the right feel for your family. Just plunk your photo in, personalize the text, and you’re done!

Shutterfly also has the best selection of photo gifts to get a jump on the busy holiday season. You can’t go wrong with a photo mug or hardcover photo book, especially if you’re gifting them to grandparents. (Get a mug for yourself while you’re at it. I use mine every morning!)
