PAIGELAUREN BABY: Comfortable baby fashion for the holidays…and every day!

I can’t believe it. In 12 weeks, I’ll have a baby girl. I’ve been so, so, so busy lately that I am barely prepared for this baby, but you always pull it together in time, right? I hope so. There’s not a whole lot that we need, but I did realize recently that we should probably buy her some clothes!

I’m so used to gravitating toward the boys’ things that it’s hard for me to browse the girls’ section. I don’t like a lot of what I find – glittery, sparkly things with words like “Diva” on them. Animal prints. The state of little girl clothing is not pretty lately, so I’ve been on the hunt for simple, classic pieces with a feminine touch, and lucky for me, Paige Lauren (the founder of PAIGELAUREN BABY) was on the same mission, and she has made it possible for moms like me to find beautifully constructed, uncomplicated pieces that are soft, comfortable, and timeless. Just what a new baby needs.

The newest addition to our baby girl’s (still small) wardrobe is the Peterpan Collared Polo

…along with the Classic Ruffle Skirt. The contrasting patterns in the ruffles are just enough to add interest, without going overboard.

Both pieces are from the Earth & Sky Collection, which features a bunch of useful, everyday pieces for day and night, or day into night. The ultra-soft Supima jersey knit fabric has a totally different feel than most baby clothing – like something I would want to curl up and sleep in. That kind of comfort is what I want for my newborn, and I can’t wait to put her in it!

This outfit would be super cute for the holidays with some black tights and patent Mary Janes, but alas, my girl won’t be joining us until February. Although that’s pretty perfect, too, because she’s be a little Valentine sweetheart all dressed up in PAIGELAUREN!

If you’re looking for something for the holidays, I’d love to recommend the Classic Union Jack Suit. How great is this for Christmas morning (or any other morning, for that matter!) Check out this little peanut wearing it… :)

Lest you think they only carry red items, I assure you the colors of the whole PAIGELAUREN BABY line are gorgeous. Blues, lavenders, pinks and greys, all in beautiful hues that remind me of the muted colors you get when you use natural dyes, like berries and beets.

  4. Oh my, I love all of their line and I can’t believe I have never heard of them. They are in my own back yard. I am so tired of seeing tutus on little girls all of the time. I love this quality but casual look for a little girl.

  10. Sometimes simple is best – I usually pick t hings in greens and yellows that aren’t necessarily girl or boy oriented. That way they can be used for either. =D Congratulations on the new baby. =D
