I’ve been writing a lot lately about my frustration with maternity clothes. Luckily, online shopping has been paying off! There are some fantastic sources out there for maternity clothes that are more than just “okay”…they’re actually totally cute! I just love finding maternity clothing that is similar to what I’d buy any other time, and Sweet Pea Maternity is the perfect place to find it!
With fall upon us, I thought it would be a good idea to get at least one warm, comfy sweater to snuggle up in on the weekends. You know, the kind you wear to go apple-picking, or on a hayride, or shopping for pumpkins. Sweet Pea had just what I was looking for! The Burgundy Sash Maternity Knit Sweater, which I’m wearing in the pic below.
What do you think? 
Every time I wear this sweater, I feel like I should sit down with a cup of warm spiced cider. It just feels like fall, and it’s so comfortable! Well-made, too. I think it’s going to last well beyond this pregnancy, which means I’ll be able to pass it along to another mama-to-be when I’m done with it!
Now, the picture above shows how I usually wear this sweater: open in front. But it does have a tie that sits just above your baby bump. (I just prefer it open. I look slightly less large that way! 
Not that anything really helps at this point…)
Complaints or suggestions? No, not really. This one is a keeper. The sleeves are slightly tight around the upper arm, but it’s less bulky that way, so I kind of like the look.

Sweet Pea has lots of other trendy maternity clothes that are fitted and flattering (which is how I like them. No tents, please!) Here are a few on my wish list…great for weekends or workdays, if you’re business casual!

I’m really planning on wearing mine after I have the baby, too, so I bet it would be just fine for a non-pregnant mom! Maybe a tiny bit roomy, but only in the middle. The rest of it fits normally.

That sweater looks really amazing. It’s the kind of affordable maternity clothing that I’m looking for. Considering that I knit as a hobby, it is difficult not to fall in love with that sweater.
